Healing for the Healthy

Chain-link fence
A web of cold metal
spun out of spite.
Her fingers strained
toward the warmth
that she could see,
but not touch.
Her frostbitten knuckles
bled.
It was the finest torture.

Notes: The prompt for this one was "chain-link fence"
